Suvarnayug Sahakari Bank Ltd., Pune was established by Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust on 2nd October 1973 by Founder Late Shri Prataprao alias Tatysaheb Godase with the noble aim of taking the Bank and the Banking to the common people by adopting the principle of cooperation in Banking. And the same has been fulfilled up to a great extent and now bank is developing as a large bank with the use of latest technology and infrastructure and best customer service. The bank has made an exceptional progress and is developing its strength in various locations.
The Bank offers the entire spectrum of financial services to customer segments covering Large and Mid-Corporates, MSME, Agriculture and Retail Businesses.
With its 22 branches (including extension counters) and 20 On-site ATMs and 1 Off-site ATM which was first off-site ATM permitted by RBI to Co-op Bank, the network of Suvarnayug Bank spreads across Pune Cities and Pune District. Enabling the Bank to reach out to a large cross-section of more than 225000 customers with an array of products and services.
Bank has successfully implemented Core Banking solution (CBS) project in 2011 having centralised data processing and own data center at Head Office.
With a Business Mix of Rs. 1157 crores as on 31st March 2019, Suvarnayug Bank has achieved consistent growth and with a 5 year (2014-15 to 2018-19) of 10°/o in Total Assets, 8°/o in Total Deposits, 11°/o in Total Advances.
